Eastern Essence Pulao contains organic cashew
nuts; otherwise our products do not contain
nuts.

No. Eastern Essence products are completely
vegan, free of animal and dairy products.

Answer:
Absolutely not. All Eastern Essence products
are completely GMO- free.

Answer: Yes. All Eastern
Essence products are completely naturally
grown without the use of any chemical pesticides
or chemical fertilizers. They are certified
organic by the College of Indore in India,
and will shortly have organic certification
recognized by the USDA.

Is the
salt in Eastern Essence products safe? I
have heard salt increases blood pressure.
Answer: The 100% pure rock
salt we use in Eastern Essence products
is absolutely safe. It comes from ancient
seas that dried up millions of years ago
and are now part of the mountains in India.
It is rich in essential minerals that the
body needs for optimal health. Furthermore,
these minerals aid in the digestion of many
starchy foods. In Ayurveda, health is understood
to begin with good digestion; therefore,
supporting the body's ability to digest
is fundamental to health and well-being.
Some research indicates that it is not salt
itself that causes high blood pressure,
but the artificial chemicals found in table
salt that are the culprits. This is vindicated
by cultures that eat pure salt without chemicals,
and yet have very low incidence of high
blood pressure (such as the Japanese). Our
salt is 100% free of artificial chemicals.

Answer: Eastern Essence
Khichdi and Pulao are completely mild, and
contain no heating spices. Royal Dal Regular
has a mild spicy flavor, though it does
not contain chili peppers. Biryani and Royal
Dal Spicy are designed for palettes that
enjoy spicy-hot foods.

What are
Eastern Essence shipping policies?
Answer: The majority of
our orders are shipped via UPS Ground Shipping
or USPS Priority Mail. Most in-stock items
ship within 1-2 business days and should
arrive on your doorstep 7-10 business days
after receipt of your order.
International
Orders:
International shipping charges do not appear
in the shopping cart, but an additional
charge (based on the actual cost of international
shipping and handling) will apply.

Note for International Customers:
Please investigate your country's rules
and procedures before ordering. Eastern
Essence® cannot be responsible for any
problems your order may encounter with your
country's Customs officials. Eastern Essence®
is not responsible for orders confiscated

Eastern Essence® fully guarantees your
satisfaction with our products. If for any
reason you are unsatisfied, simply return
the unused portion of your product(s) within
30 days of the original purchase date for
a full refund. This offer applies to all
first-time purchases of Eastern Essence®
products, and to any damaged or defective
products.
